Goals
In its products StarMoney and SFirm for Windows, Star Finanz wants to replace the previous solution for extracting invoice data with the Docutain SDK, so that in the course of photo transfers the recognized data is automatically pre-filled.
Requirements
A solution that imports invoices for OCR and data extraction on Windows and captures or imports them in the mobile Photo Payment workflow. The processing must work locally on the user's device.
Solution
With Docutain, the Windows applications import invoices for OCR and data extraction, while the Android, iOS and Mac Catalyst workflow can additionally capture them with the camera. Relevant payment data is returned to pre-populate remittance slips. The process runs locally on the device, so sensitive invoice data is not transmitted to a Docutain server.
